Migration of Technology

The research framework has been developed to provide consistency across the case studies. It was inspired by the literature on the domestication of technology, but has been adapted to take account of the work carried out prior to the application in the colonial setting. The five stages identified with migration are identification, preparation, assignation, incorporation and conversion.
